Andrew Pack, a fundraising professional and active philanthropist.
A dedicated member of his community, Andrew Pack supports charities like Greater Philadelphia Cares, the Philadelphia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the Philadelphia Youth Network, and Philabundance. A native of Glasgow, Scotland, he moved to the United States in 1976, graduated from La Salle University in 1995 and shortly afterwards earned a Certificate in Principals of Fundraising from Villanova University. With a natural gift for organizing and raising funds for charitable events, he currently serves as the Consulting Director of Philanthropic Initiatives for the International Financial Company in Philadelphia. Hired by the International Financial Company in January of 2010, Andrew Pack consults on such work as the organization of a Philadelphia fundraiser for the Prostate Cancer Foundation, with the goal of raising $250,000 in donations. His role required both pre-event planning and supervising the event’s staff. Next, Andrew Pack facilitated a fundraiser for the University of Pennsylvania’s Tennis Team, an involved process that included planning the event and maintaining close communications with the university’s major donors; the fundraiser went on to raise $150,000 in gifts. In the past, Andrew Pack worked with Variety – The Children’s Charity of Greater Pennsylvania, The National Sleep Foundation, and the United Way of Chester County. In 2004, the Philadelphia Business Journal named Andrew Pack one of the Top 40 Under 40 professionals in the greater Philadelphia area. Active in the professional community, Andrew Pack holds membership in the Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP) as well as the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Network. An individual with a passion for improving the lives of children, Andrew Pack served as the Vice Chair of the Southeast Philadelphia Collaborative (SEPC), a group of organizations that work to provide adolescents with enriching educational experiences and after-school programming. In his spare time, Andrew Pack enjoys basketball and tennis.
